Hand made Journal

The cover was felted with roving wool, yarn, felt pieces and fabric - all machine felted. The buttons were made with polymer clay and painted with alcohol inks.

Punch needle on Monk Fabric

I started  a small journal for textile abstracts - punch needling on monk fabric, trimmed with felted yarn attached to watercolor paper pages.

Handmade Felted Journal

For this fun project I machine felted scrap fabrics, and yarn to felt fabric. I then made buttons with polymer clay, added coffee dyed papers to make a small journal. Another fun project.

Machine felted projects

To my surprise I learned that felting could be done with a machine verses manual individual barbed needles. I did two projects with felting roving wool, fabric and yarn. This a relaxing and rewarding craft.

In this project I felted scraps of fabric to a felt sheet, and and then adhered HTV flowers. I then altered a frame.
