Blizzard Journal Book

Bound with paper folds, front of the book covered with  acetate. I used stamps, made pockets with vellum, and a hand made embellished paper clip.

Faux leather note book

Faux leather cover made with kraft processed paper. Pockets with hand made embellishments and Tim Holtz slot die, and butterfly die.

Small handmade Journal

The cover was made with manilla folders, I used oxide inks to color. I used white and orange copy paper for the journal pages and deckled the edges. I then made envelope pouches and embellished them with stamps and inks.

Vintage bound Notebook

For the cover I used, muslin fabric with tissue paper, inks, block stamps and mod podge. I then made three signatures with copy paper - used kraft paper to make a folder with a tab for each signature.

Faux Leather Note Pad Book

Handmade Faux Leather cover made with kraft paper, embossed and stained with ink. Envelope pouch  with sticky pad insert.

Accordian Mixed Media book

Black card stock, with stamped images, washi tape, with die cuts of Arteza scratch notes to add color to the black and white book.

Envelope Book Binding

 I processed the cover with  Kraft paper using water and glycerin, inks, embossing folder and mod podge for a faux leather look. I then embossed several kraft envelopes with inks. For binding I took card stock and made an accordion then attached the envelopes and cover.  This can become addicting.. :)..  I am working my next one.

Denim post card with embroidered butterfly

I cut up old jeans and made scraps fabric for art pieces .I made a post card with a stamp on watercolor paper, covered the  post card with denim, added a denim heart  applique and a embroidered butter fly and  then zig zag stiching.

Postcard Art with Fabric

I used  the Bosal Stitch and Steam interfacing to create the texture. I did lines of stitching attaching the interfacing to the fabric, and then used steam from the iron to cause the texture. A remarkable result, the steam and interfacing made it possible for the fabric to make ripples  causing a beautiful texture effect.

Fabric Postcard

 Another fun project.... I took scraps of fabric, covered them with organza and stitched several zig zag stitches on top. I then attached a embroidered heart. I adhered canson watercolor paper to the back and stamped it with a postcard stamp. I like the way it turned out, I will be making more of these small projects, they are quick and crafty.:)
