I am Back!

I took a few months off to decide how to proceed with my blog. I changed the name from Scented Creations4U to  DenisesViews I have decided to discuss various subjects, as well as market my businesses in my posts.  I would like to re-introduce myself to my readers.  I am senior who is now engaged in my life long dream of being an entrepreneur.  This is a long over due dream that has finally come true. I have worked for various industries in the Customer Service Field, enjoying every minute of it. With that in mind  I chose  the "Telephone Messaging Source" as a continuation of my passion for assisting others.  I am a spontaneous and creative individual making all the decisions in life with an open mind. I am deeply in touch with my emotions, therefore anything I engage in I put my heart and soul into it. Through life we all have overcome many challenges and adversities. There were times in life that we all never imagined overcoming those obstacles,  however with positive thought , determination, and faith we are here to  move on. My belief is that life can be very simple & complex. Simple meaning- choose what is best for you and go for it. Complex meaning you have to rethink which way to go forward.  I admire simplicity and I try to balance life with a great outlook on the good and the bad. I admire complexity as well, because it gives you a chance to re-evaluate, soul search, and then change the road to success. Accomplishments have no age restrictions.  Once you reach the age of sixty and over one should  re-evaluate the likes, dislikes, accomplishment, failures, and all the negatives. Then carefully decide how you are going to move forward towards your goal in this next chapter of your life . Become an innovator, make the world your playground  choosing which ride is best for you.  Play the cards you are dealt in this life like a winner regardless of what cards you receive :)  My textbook defines - WINNER and I shall continue to conquer the obstacles placed before me. The need to Identify Natural Products

Combining Business for Success!

In the the last several weeks,  I have meditated with the idea of  how to incorporate my businesses under one umbrella. The verdict is, the Scented Creations 4U products will now be included in the NuAdditions line of products. I think the title " NuAdditions  " will articulate all of my talents. I will continue to hand make exquisite jewelry, as well as continue my pursuit for nature's products to moisturize our skin. Time Management in Businesses

Time Management is of the utmost importance when having more than one business. In order to be successful, you must spend an equal amount time working on each business. As I mentioned previously I currently have three businesses to manage.  They each are an expression of me and an extension of my creativity. I spend my days managing the calls for my answering service. During the course of the day in between calls, I use the internet to research natural ingredients for a healthy style of daily living, as well update my knowledge of natural resources for producing natural products. I test various products myself,  I then look to my friends and family to evaluate any new product before adding it to my line. They are my critics and I respect their judgement.

 I also make melt and pour soaps with fragrant essential oils,  I then add shea butter and vegetable glycerin to the mixture. The soaps are sudsy and emollient. I don't buy soap from grocery stores any longer. Another eco friendly product I like to use. One of my customers places her order monthly for my soaps with patchouli essential oil. She highly praises the moisturizing sudsy soap content and the fragrance.

 As my answering service business day comes to an end, I prepare my dinner. Once dinner is over, I clean the kitchen. I am then ready to prepare the scented creations4u product orders I received and get  them ready to ship out the next business day.  Now I am ready to relax and make jewelry. Making jewelry is serene, you get to use your inner creativity to make different styles of jewelry. I enjoy making bracelets, necklaces, earrings, I find it to be a most tranquil craft at the end of a busy day. I spend several evening hours making jewelry. I recently had an idea to create my own signature pieces with elegant beads for necklaces and bracelets. I have named the signature pieces after my grandchildren. The collection is called " JaeCor Designs". My grandson's name is Jaedon and my granddaughter's name is Cori. I am very pleased with the outcome of the pieces, and the signature name as well. Customer Relations Retention in Business

  My passion for customer relations has enabled me to develop great business relationships and clients. Considering the timeframe of the Telephone Messaging Source business operation, I have developed positive relationships with a host of businesses on Long Island. I have clients that have acknowledged my qualified customer relation skills through testimonials. The admiration and appreciation portrayed by my clients warms my heart. My first client for my answering service continued for 2 years, and then later found he did not need my services due to the nature of his business volume. Seven months later he called and has returned, the gratitude of his return overwhelmed me, he could have easily found another service, however the quality of my answer services justified his return.  My customer relations path continues with my natural products. We have added Lip Balm to my list of natural products produced by Scented Creations 4U. This product is made of Shea butter, Beeswax, Coconut Oil and Sweet Orange Citrus Essential Oil. I recently introduced Peppermint Essential Oil to the Lip Balm line, we cannot make enough of it. I have a customer who purchases my lip balms in bulk, she told me she keeps one in her purse, sweater pockets and jean pockets. Her reason being, she does not like to be without it. This particular customer is a manger in an Arts and Craft store in my neighborhood. Each time I visit the store, she immediately refers to the wonderful lip balm she purchases from me.  That is  a great marketing tool I would say... wouldn't you?. I also have another customer who constantly raves about the hand cream, she offers the use of it to her friends and family members to try out. She has referred five customers to me since using it.
